   "Clarence diagnosed and fixed my dishwasher on Wednesday and then returned less than 48 hrs. Later to repair my refrigerator - the less than 24 hr. Turnaround on my desperately-needed repairs was a lifesaver! I enthusiastically recommend The Comfort Doctor and Clarence!"

   "The service was excellent but the communication could use some work. My appt was scheduled for 5-8pm. At 8pm I got a call from the technician saying he would arrive within the hour. I didn't get a knock on my door until almost 9:30pm. That took up my entire evening for something I expected to have handled much quicker. "

   "Clarence was wonderful and honest. First of all, he called me on Sunday to ask if I had submitted a service request, and came to my house the next morning. Then, the washer worked perfectly for him while he was here, but it broke as soon as he left. He said that there was only one service call charge and if it broke again, he would come out and check it for no fee. He came back out 2 days later and explained that the motor was probably the culprit, he would be happy to fix it, but for the price of fixing the motor, we would be better off getting a new one, so we did. I will definitely call them again - $29.95 is a reasonable call charge."

   "Clarence is experienced, very professional & ethical w/ reasonable prices. He told me they haven't raised their prices in 8 years and still they are able to make a decent profit. I knew what other companies wanted to charge to fix my ice maker and he was $50 cheaper + they give 15% discount on all repairs (as well as future ones) when you buy a $99 twice-yearly inspection of air conditioner and furnace, which I did. When he came to my house, he always covered his shoes when he was inside, asked for permission before he went to another area. Excellent about returning my phone calls, setting appts & calling ahead to let me know his arrival."

   "I was thoroughly impressed with Comfort Doctor. Within minutes from my request, I received a phone call from Melissa who recognized my immediate need for my washer repair. Melissa was very accommodating and professional. Clarence, the repair man, was also very courteous and professional. He kept me informed by calling to notify me of any possible change in schedule and his arrival. He answered all my questions and explained the repair, replacement part and costs. I definitely will use their services again, when necessary. I also will definitely refer them to my friends and neighbors who might need their services. "

   "Initially this consult seemed to be a good fit. I requested an estimate on my washer and garbage disposal repair. The service technician fixed the garbage disposal and washer (so i thought) and also looked at my dishwasher. He needed a part for the dishwasher. After the service call, i discovered my washer was still not working. $200 later and after being resched 5 times in a row...he tells me my washer is shot and i need a new. I AM FURIOUS, because i spent $200 and still don't have a working washer. Granted he fixed 2 other appliances, but those were not the focus of my call and could have waited, IF HE HAD TOLD ME THE WASHER WAS NOT FIXABLE. I would have put the$200 towards a new one. Now I still have to purchase a washer and am out $200. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!"

   "Called and they were out here to fix my refrigerator within one hour. They were very pleasant, courteous. He immediately wore shoe covers to come inside the house. He did not have the part on the truck. So he drove to get it came back put it on the refrigerator. Refrigerator is now running and I am so very happy!"

Since snow had fallen, he was quick to remove his boots prior to starting his work. I wasn't impressed with his helper who seemed to be sloppy, slow to respond, and a little careless.    "He arrived quickly and called ahead. He was neat and used shoe covers which impressed me most. We were in the middle of a major kitchen renovation when the dryer gave us problems and he was very considerate of that by being careful to not step on the new flooring etc... He had to come back the next day to complete the repair because he didn't have the necessary parts- that was not a problem. He scheduled a time to be here and arrived and completed the work in a prompt and efficient manner. We have already recommended Comfort Dr. To a friend and will continue to do so. Thank you for your very valuable service. "

   "I selected Comfort Doctor after obtaining several quotations to replace my furnace. I based my decision on the brand that they represented (American Standard) as well as price. I was impressed that they took the time to do a complete Manual J to determine the size of furnace that my house required. The other contractors based their sizing on rules of thumb based on my square footage. This would have caused me to put a larger (and more expensive) furnace that was required. My rating would have been 5 stars had it not been for some unforseen problems during installation causing delays and difficulties contacting the company/representative."

   "Clarence was very straight forward about my washer's problems. After he went out for a new motor and all the way back, installed it, then found more problems. He could have charged for the motor but instead showed me the other problems and recommended it was not worth all the repair time and money. All I was charged was the $19.95 service call. Will definitely use Comfort Doctor again! Thanks so much!"
